Symposium Academic Achievement Celebration Dinner

The Symposium Academic Achievement Celebration Dinner is an annual program at NC State hosted by Multicultural Student Affairs that has been running for over 25 years. It recognizes first-year students who achieve a GPA of 3.5 or higher and are part of the Symposium for Multicultural Scholars.

The recognition ceremony aims to help students develop a sense of confidence and belief in themselves and their ideas, celebrate their successes, and foster an affinity for NC State. Parents and families are invited to attend this special event.

Each year, new first-year students identified for this recognition receive a certificate of achievement and are invited to a formal dinner reception annually in January.

The Symposium Academic Achievement Celebration Dinner and all MSA-sponsored/supported programs and initiatives are open to all students from all backgrounds.
